Somewhat obviously, this is a blog about books and book-related things. We have wide-ranging tastes, but one thing we are always after is good writing. Good writing transcends genre, audience, and time period. We are not relativists, though. Everything is not good. Just because you or we like something does not mean it’s good. Craft matters.
Content-wise, you’ll find a variety here. Reviews, certainly, of both adult and children’s books. You’ll find musings from us about being readers and raising children to be readers. We’ll write about interesting stuff that happens in the literary world, and we may even write about our own writing from time to time.
